Running Bibs Wanted

I came across a great activity that my kiddos are both excited about. It is called Running Number Math and incorporates geography, math, writing and art. If you have ever wondered what to do with your race bibs, this is the perfect opportunity to donate them to an educational cause.
I know many of you (like myself) have sentimental attachment to your bibs... if this is true of you, please feel free to send a color photocopy! If you are interested in helping, let me know and I'll email you our mailing address.

Thank you!

  1. My goal is to complete a number line from 1-100. Bib #s I have include:

    #67
    #93

Most of my race bibs are from large races and I thereby have large numbers.

  3. If I didn't have a sentimental attachment to all of my bibs, I would SOOO send them your way. Sounds like you have a great activity/project lined up!

  4. Stacy - I, too, have a sentimental attachment to my bibs particularly because I don't run many races. I'm just hoping a few veterans that race regularly may have a few that they can lend to our project.

I'm certain this project will take some time to finish. :D

  5. Because people tend to get attached to their bibs, one way to bypass that is to ask for copies of bibs with numbers between 1 and 100. I'll look at mine to see if any qualify. Kong
