I'm new to your blog but had to add my $.02 on your race possibilities. I've run the CIM and can't recommend it highly enough. Perfect organization and great course that's slightly downhill for most of the 2nd half. I'll probably go back to try for a Boston qualifying time.
My running partner has run Long Beach and did not have a good experience.
Woo hoo! Good luck :-) Tell hubby you'll make it worth his while ;-)

I would love to run CIM, my only concern is that it is in Dec and it snows here - making training a little tricky. I definately need to talk with DH.
